Foster and Partners' and Aston Martin's collaborative entry in Transport for London's competition to design a new London bus, has won joint first prize (alongside Capoco Design). Their new Routemaster concept is described by Foster + Partners as '..a vehicle that is environmentally sensitive, accessible, convivial and reinvents a much-loved symbol of London for the modern era'. Their competition entry was accompanied by a 1:25 scale, full colour model (pictured below) made by us.
